Gevril Watch Reviews

When searching for luxury Swiss timepieces, the name Gevril may have come up. Considering buying? We’ll be diving into our Gevril reviews to help you decide if you should add this brand to your collection or go for something else.

What is Gevril?

Gevril was the name of a famous watchmaker back in the 1700s who was appointed a Royal watchmaker by the king of Spain. The history of Gevril runs deep, but unfortunately, many watch collectors feel that the name and watches stopped a long time ago. In 1990, the rights to the Gevril name were purchased by a Swiss distributor and then resold to a passionate watch collector in 2001.

Gevril produces high-quality Swiss watches, many of which are homage pieces.

Is Gevril Worth It?

The short answer is yes. The watches themselves are indeed high-quality, however, the brand has little history past its originator and it would be a lie if I told you the watches produced today would be found in any serious watch collectors collection.

They are great Swiss homage pieces that are much better than most replicas, but I’d advise you to save up for the actual Rolex or IWC.

  1. I have a GEVRIL
Wall Street Stainless Steel GMT Swiss Automatic Bracelet I wear it about once a week never abuse or drop for only 7 months it’s stopped working so I have to sent to the factory to repair the repair cost is free cause in the warranty but the shipping and receiving costs I have to pay. Poor quality and poor service. I will never buy a Gevril again.
